A social development activist, worker, manager, researcher, administrator and Chemist with over 40 years’ experience of managing people, issues, projects and programmes, with a passion for supporting the actualisation of potentials in all facets of human endeavour in order to improve lives, and build capacities in education, health care, especially in underserved communities.
She worked with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation as a Chemist in the Petrochemical and Engineering Division, the Research and Development Division as a Research Chemist; she retired as the Products Marketing Division PH Area Sales Superintendent. She then joined ADDAX Nigeria Limited, an oil servicing company as the Downstream Marketing and Distribution Manager. She finally took up social development work in a not- for- profit, non-governmental organisation – Change Managers International Network. She then co-founded a non-governmental organization, Women and Youths Environmental Safety and Empowerment Organisation (E-WAY for Development). E-WAY’s mission is to empower women and youths in underserved communities through education, capacity building, and empowerment, access to primary health and environmental safety awareness of which she is the Executive Director.
She was a former parent of the college. As a member of the Loyola Jesuit College Parents Teachers Association, she served on the sub-committee of the 60 Angels Memorial Flats Building Committee.
She is a keen golfer and was past Lady Captain 2012/2013 of the IBB International Golf and Country Club; as well as past Financial Secretary of the Ladies Golf Association of Nigeria (LGAN).
She is married with two children and grandchildren.
