Loyola Jesuit College Endowment Fund is a non-profit and non-political organization incorporated under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with its head office in Loyola Jesuit College, Abuja. It was established in 2015 and is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees, through a Governing Board/Executive Committee. It is presided under the Chairmanship of Dr. Chike Madueke, NPOM.
Loyola Jesuit College Endowment Fund is a fixed, self-sustaining source of funding for students, programs, faculty and other capital needs. The endowment fund is invested and each year, the interests accruing on the invested fund are used to support the fund’s purpose. Any earnings in excess of these payouts are used to build the fund’s market value, giving funds the opportunity to grow and provide income for its intended purpose in perpetuity.
Loyola Jesuit College was established through generous donations by the Society of Jesus in New York and the American people to erect buildings and make available sporting facilities in 1996. It has since provided excellent holistic education in the service of God and others. The college continues to produce well-formed critical thinkers and our alumni continue to distinguish themselves in all spheres of human endeavor.
Loyola Jesuit College Endowment Fund aims to provide lasting support for students, teachers, academic awards, college events, faculty enhancements and infrastructural development for Loyola Jesuit College. We also hope to sprout and support similar quality educational ventures all over Nigeria. Join hands with us today to sustain quality education. Donate your heart.
To become an independent and sustainable fund for the advancement of the Loyola Jesuit College inspiration and the global Jesuit heritage.
To promote and sustain the Jesuit education tradition in the society and in the service of humanity.
